My name is Lisa Harrison and I have been teaching at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools for 13 years. My students’ insatiable curiosity keeps me on my toes and inspires my teaching. The curriculum emerges from their sense of wonder. I believe that when children have opportunities to explore their questions about the world, learning becomes authentic and rich.
As teachers, we don't have to reinvent the wheel. This site documents the projects I'm most proud of, as well as other works in progress. I will also share teaching ideas, resources, tools, anecdotes, and other things that have given me inspiration. Feel free to share or use the content from this site that inspires you, but please give credit when appropriate.
I love hearing from you and I read each and every comment or email that comes in. Thanks for stopping by!
I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.
